The beds are very confortable but....
At the first sight this place is surprisedly good for the price. Huge reception, professional peope, nice furnished rooms. Then taking a closer look you'll discover a some decadency that takes you back to reality. Things don't work as they should ( sinks, showers are rusty and rotten, the heater/ air condition was the noisiest on earth) but for this price you won't find any better in Petra. Unfortunately. On top it's a bit too far away from the visitor centre
Helpful staff, well furnished and decorated room, nice view from the room. Good price. Good breakfast.
Room was not made until I asked. Malfunctioning TV. Cold and poorly designed bathroom (unavoidable flooding). Wifi not available in the rooms.
The staff tried there very best (and succeeded) to ensure we had a comfortable and relaxing time. This is a 3+ star hotel and if you know that and have that expectation accordingly then you will not be dissapointed..
Early morning call to prayer is quite loud; not much the hotel can do about this. They should do more to exploit the great view that they have of Petra.
Bedrooms are refurbished since last year, and are nice. Bath room is very small and still in original state. Breakfast is average. Nice availability of hamman in hotel.
There was nothing we liked about this hotel.
The rooms were small, with barely any space around the bed and no room for a suitcase. The bathrooms were tiny with old worn out fixtures. One of the rooms had an awful smell. When we informed the receptionist that we decided not to stay a second night, we were oferred a "better room."
there was no bread for breakfast and there were constructions in the hotel after midnight, i had to call twice to make them stop
The lobby is nice. There is hot water.
The location is far away from town, about 15-20 minutes walk to city center. Reception was poor. The first three rooms smelled horribly, and the fourth was noisy. Breakfast choices were poor. The price was too much for what was offered. Only when I checked out did the reception people finally become accommodating.
Lovely, kind staff and comfortable bed, clean room, good brakfasts, lovel terrace up top to watch sunset.
tv didn't work and fridge didn't work. Not enough power points for recharging /using personal appliances.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had air conditioning. Water pressure in the showers was excellent.
It's about 2km out of Petra which is unfortunate. Also it says on the Booked.net website that there was an outdoor pool, but there wasn'T.
Well you will defenately feel home at this place. The people that run this hotel are friendly and ready to give good advice for whatever is on your heart. Starting point for trips which can be booked individually after arrival. Rooms are clean and quiet. Cold drinks are available for cheap in the bar and breakfast is included in the room price.. I have been here twice now and will book it again on my next trip to Jordan and the turkish bath is very nice and maizing thanks for all the staff in this hotel and my hopes see this hotel next year
What can I say? This is a fabulous little hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and were quick to answer any questions about the town and made good recommendations. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated and we had a huge balcony overlooking the street and mountain >>>>>thank you very very
The staff is amazing. They like to interact with the visitors and do all that is possible to feel at home.
The staff was very accommodating. The location was close enough to be at Petra within a 3-5 mintue drive. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a wonderful experience while I was there and made great friends.
If you are traveling in the Middle East you must learn patience. For instance they say breakfast is 7 to 10am but it might be ready at 7:30 to 7:45. They are not on a rigid schedule so you should not expect it and only you would be upset if it doesn't happen. Internet would be out but I believe it was not the Hotels fault, but again patience is learned by practicing it.
The staff was very helpful and creating a warm cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but well presented. We had free wi-fi. It was close to Petra since it only took us 5min by car to arrive there.
The bathroom inside our room was a bit smelly and the floor was a bit dirty.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I appreciated that they drove us down to the Petra park gate each morning. Evening coffee and morning breakfast on the roof, overlooking the mountains was lovely
I stayed with two other people and we each had our own room. I switched rooms twice and one traveling companion switched his room once because of malfunctions in the room. One room had no working air conditioning, another two rooms had no working T.V, and two rooms had blowdryers but they didn't work. The refrigerator was also not working in one of the rooms.Eventually, we stopped switching rooms because getting everything to work in a room was clearly not going to be an option. I think they would really benefit from a full time handy man on the job there, and perhaps some more investment in the infrastructure. Staff was pretty friendly though.
